Revision pricing is transparent and based on the scope of changes requested. You’re never locked into a “take it or leave it” draft—we’re happy to keep working with you to make the story feel right.

Yes. Your story, your idea, and any personal details you share are treated as confidential. We do not share, sell, or repurpose your content, and your novel is not used for marketing or any other purpose without your explicit permission.

Your project exists for you—and for anyone you choose to share it with—not for anyone else.

FAQ #7 — How will my finished novel be delivered?

Your novel is delivered digitally first. You’ll receive your completed manuscript in DOCX, PDF, and/or ePub formats—whichever you prefer. This gives you immediate access to your story and allows you to read it, share it, or request revisions right away.

If you’ve ordered paperbacks or hardcovers, those will arrive a few weeks later, printed and shipped directly by Amazon. You can also choose to wait until you receive your digital version before deciding whether you want printed copies—many clients prefer to see the story first and then choose their print options.

For printed books, you’re welcome to provide your own cover artwork, or we can design a custom cover for you. Either way, your book will look and feel like a professionally produced novel.

Any optional add‑ons or upgrades—such as revisions, custom cover design, or printed copies—can be paid for after the initial project is completed.

All payments are processed securely through Square, and we accept credit cards, Apple Pay, and ACH transfers.

In the event that a payment is reversed or disputed by the customer, ownership of the work immediately reverts to My Dream Novel. This ensures that authorship rights remain clear and protects the integrity of the creative process.

Once your project is paid for and work begins, the author assigned to your novel will reach out personally by email. They’ll introduce themselves, provide their direct contact information, and let you know that your story is officially in progress.

If we have any material questions that will help us make your novel the best it can be, we’ll contact you before the draft is finished. When your manuscript is complete, you’ll receive a notification right away along with your digital files.

In between, you’re always welcome to reach out if you have questions, concerns, or ideas you’d like to share. We’re here throughout the entire process to make sure your experience feels smooth, personal, and exciting.
